What will student learn?
Summers Driving School LLC knows it is difficult for students to sit through hours of boring lecture and it is even worse when they are learning about something as important as driving. Our interactive activities and curriculum make it easier for students to learn about the privilege of driving and following the rules of the road.
WE GO THE EXTRA MILE TO MAKE SURE NEW DRIVERS ARE READY TO HIT THE ROAD!
Our #1 goal is to teach our students to be SAFE drivers who know the LAWS of driving, while keeping them engaged in the classroom and alert behind the wheel.
Like many other states, North Carolina requires teens who wish to obtain their permit and license to complete 30 hours of classroom or live online instruction and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel driving time with a state-approved licensed instructor. While the material covered by each driver education class might vary, all driver training schools are required to teach 6 hours of impaired driving (drug and alcohol) awareness as well as one hour of motorcycle & pedestrian safety.
North Carolina has some challenging traffic patterns and driving conditions. From the mountains of Boone to the beaches of OBX, North Carolina drivers can enjoy leisurely drives on winding country roads or travel from the suburbs to the city on multilane expressways. Summers Driving School LLC strives to prepare students to operate a vehicle safely no matter where they are driving and what road surfaces, weather conditions, or obstacles they encounter. We use a variety of fun activities and unique strategies to help students understand and remember the skills and laws they should know to keep themselves and other people safe on the road.
